PNP Chief wants to melt in shame after learning abducted Korean was killed inside Camp Crame

Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa said he wants to melt in shame after he found out that South Korean businessman Jee Ick Joo was killed inside the national police headquarters in Camp Crame. “Very angry. Very offended. Kung puwede lang matunaw ako sa kinalalagyan ko sa hiya, natunaw na ako [If I could only melt in shame here, I would have melted already]. It happened inside Camp Crame.

“If I have my way, papatayin ko kayong mga police kayo [I will kill the police (involved in the Korean’s murder)]. But I cannot do it,” he added. One of the accused in the crime confessed that Jee Ick Joo was strangled to death by Senior Police Officer 3 Ricky Sta. Isabel inside Camp Crame. Gen. De la Rosa apologized to the public that the crime happened. There were reports that said the slain businessman was cremated in one of the crematoriums in Manila and his ashes were flushed down a toilet.
