Gigabyte Brix gaming systems feature NVIDIA GTX 1080, GTX 1070 with i7-6700K

Gigabyte has recently unveiled their new Brix gaming systems which can be installed with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or GTX 1080. The design of the case would also appeal to PC gamers around the world. The first model is the GB-GZ1DTi7-1080-OK-GW which holds an Intel Core i7-6700K processor and a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming G1 graphics card. Those who are not yet convinced of its power should know that the rig is fitted with 32GB DDR4 RAM which means that they can open several programs at a time without experiencing any lag. Gigabyte's second model is the GB-GZ1DTi7-NK-GW with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming G1 graphics card and the RAM cut in half at 16GB, PC Gamer reported. Both models can be fitted with a 240GB M.2 SSD for faster read and write speeds.

For those who cannot get enough space, a 1TB mechanical HDD is available although it would not be as fast as the SSD counterpart. Both of the gaming rigs will be powered by a customized 400W PSU. All of the components are considered to be power-efficient although overlocking them might not be the best idea. Other notable features include the Killer E2400 Gigabit NIC and the Intell Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165NGW Wi-Fi, Hot Hardware reported. Both models also have two USB 3.0, one USB 3.1 and one Thunderbolt 3 port. Controllers and peripherals can also be connected via the Bluetooth 4.2 connection. Another unique feature of the Gigabyte Brix gaming rigs is the automated exhaust solution in the case. The dual flaps at the top of the rig opens to make way for more exhaust whenever the GTX 1080 or GTX 1070 are taxed during gaming sessions. Gigabyte has not yet disclosed when the Brix gaming systems will become available in the market. The pricing may start from $1000 onwards considering that the video cards alone can cost as much.
