New ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Posters Released; James McAvoy Goes Bald!

Summer is really going to be interesting for fans and moviegoers since “X-Men: Apocalypse” is just few months away. With the film getting closer to its release date, it is only right for marketing schemes such as new trailers and photos to surface.

And, sure enough, 20th Century Fox has just unveiled a set of new character posters for this film. According to Comic Book Movie, the studio is kicking it a notch higher for their upcoming film “X-Men: Apocalypse.” In the hopes of hyping everything up for the movie, Fox has just released new character posters, and all of which feature mutants – both old and new – along with their respective abilities or powers.

The said posters feature James McAvoy (who is now bald) as Professor Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, and Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique. The newcomers, on the other hand, are composed of Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers/Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, and Oliva Munn as Psylocke. Screen Crush notes that the only characters who are not included in the new posters are the notable villain Apocalypse, which will be played by Oscar Isaac, and Ben Hardy’s Angel. Apocalypse is known to be an ancient foe who is accompanied by the Four Horsemen – namely, Magneto, Storm, Psylocke, and Angel.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” finds the mutant superheroes in the brink of destruction as they are set to face their greatest enemy – Apocalypse. The X-Men must stop him at all costs so as to save mankind from total annihilation. “X-Men: Apocalypse” also includes Rose Byrne as she reprises her role as Moira MacTaggert from “X-Men: First Class”. Moreover, the film also features Lucas Till as Havok and Lana Condor as Jubilee. The film is set to hit the big screen come May 27.
