4th Impact eliminated from X-Factor UK

fter being a strong contender in the talent show X-Factor UK for several weeks, all-Filipino girl group 4th Impact was eliminated from the show on Sunday, Nov. 29. 4th Impact's Celina has been pictured leaving The X Factor studios in an ambulance after collapsing on-stage on Sunday night. The Filipino girlband member is seen surrounded by concerned paramedics, wrapped up in a blanket as she is moved into the vehicle by a member of the team. According to reports, she collapsed after the show ended, following the moment the group were told they had not made it through to the semi-finals of the ITV talent show.

According to Simon Cowell's ex Sinitta, the singer fell unconscious after the sing-off and had to be tended to by paramedics. Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh has said this year's act 4th Impact is pointless as he doesn't think anyone will vote for them. The four-piece from the Philippines are competing in Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's Groups category. Walsh, who was replaced by Nick Grimshaw this year, said the group is talented but might as well pack up and go home now - "wherever they are from". "I don't see the point of the four girls from wherever they're from. I don't know who's going to vote for them," he told BANG. "Where are they from? They're really good but I just don't see the point." An ITV source told Mirror Online: "These comments don't feel relevant given that viewers have clearly voted for 4th Impact as otherwise they wouldn't have made the quarter-finals this weekend."

Contestant Lauren Murray has revealed she was sent death threats after being accused of "shoving" a member of 4th Impact during last week's live shows. The aspiring singer, mentored by Rita Ora , was attacked by viewers after she appeared to reject a hug from one of the sisters as they celebrated being put through to next week's show. “It’s absolutely ridiculous," she told the Radio Times. "I was so shocked about how one tiny thing can get so blown out of proportion. "Even 4th Impact were so upset about it because they were like, ‘What is going on?’” 4th Impact did indeed stick up for Lauren: "Hello guys, we are 4th Impact and we want you to please stop telling [Lauren] anything because she loves us a lot and we love Lauren. "It wasn't bad, okay? We love you!"
